Boasting a location just a few steps from the historic Hofthi Residence, this Reykjavik hotel comprises 320 rooms and 2 restaurants.
The Hlemmur Food Hall is located approximately 500 metres from the hotel, and such natural sites as Klambratun Park is only 1.1 km away. A modern area, where the Fosshotel Reykjavik sits, grants access to cultural attractions like the Tales from Iceland, which is about a 5-minute ride away. The nearby family attractions include Reykjavik Family Park and Zoo within a 2-km distance of the accommodation. This Reykjavik hotel is also situated within a few blocks of Hoefthatorg bus stop.

Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Fosshotel Reykjavik was truly memorable. the warm and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by the cozy room featuring stunning ocean views, made for a perfect romantic escape. the attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, from accommodating our room preferences to making our birthday celebration extra special. the buffet meals were a highlight, offering a delightful variety of dishes that satisfied our taste buds and fueled us for our adventures. Although not in the heart of the city, the hotel's convenient location was just a short stroll away from Reykjavik's vibrant markets and captivating architecture. the breakfast buffet was a scrumptious start to our day, with unique options like miso soup and pancakes adding to the usual spread. the hotel's proximity to popular attractions like the Golden Circle made exploring Iceland's natural wonders a breeze. the elegant suites on the upper floors offered breathtaking vistas, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. the hotel's dedication to providing excellent service and facilities truly sets it apart, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. Overall, Fosshotel Reykjavik exceeded my expectations, providing a tranquil retreat amidst Iceland's awe-inspiring landscapes. Whether you're seeking a cozy weekend getaway or a longer stay to explore all that Reykjavik has to offer, this four-star superior hotel is sure to impress. I highly recommend indulging in the fine dining experience at Haust Restaurant and unwinding at the Beer Garden with a local Icelandic draught beer. My companion and I left Fosshotel Reykjavik feeling refreshed, inspired, and eager to return.
